About Us

Wichita Recovery Hub – A Recovery Café, is a registered 501©3 nonprofit. We are a vibrant and inclusive nonprofit startup dedicated to fostering recovery, connection, healing, and community for individuals from all walks of life. We provide a safe, welcoming physical space where those in recovery can find resources, support, and healing through peer-based connections.

We are not a clinical treatment center or drop-in center; we are a member-based community hub dedicated to supporting recovery through connection and shared experience. We embrace a multiple-pathways framework of recovery, recognizing and honoring the diversity of each member's recovery and healing journey. While we require our members to be drug-free and alcohol-free in our space, recovery at our organization goes beyond substance use. We believe that everyone is in recovery from something—whether it’s trauma, anxiety, depression, abuse, or other challenges. Through time and community, we believe that recovery and healing are possible for all.
