Something beautiful is happening in Kansas.

Wichita Recovery Hub is honored to share that a new recovery community is forming in Hutchinson — the Hutchinson Recovery Hub — and we could not be more excited.

This is more than a new program. It’s more than a gathering.

It’s the beginning of a place of belonging.

From Vision to Movement

When Wichita Recovery Hub opened its doors as Kansas’ first member of the Recovery Café Network, we knew we were building something bigger than one building, one city, or one circle.

Recovery is not meant to be isolated. Belonging should not depend on zip code.

Over the past several months, leaders and community members in Hutchinson have been asking an important question:

What would it look like to build a recovery-centered community here?

And instead of waiting for someone else, for the perfect time, or the perfect location, they stepped forward.

What Is a Recovery Hub?

Like Wichita, the Hutchinson Recovery Hub will center around:

Shared community meals
Recovery circles
Peer support
Accountability and growth
Radical hospitality

It’s not a drop-in center.

It’s a community built on dignity, connection, and the belief that every person deserves a place to heal and grow.

Built Locally. Supported Together.

The Hutchinson Recovery Hub is being led by local visionaries who understand their community best. Wichita Recovery Hub is honored to walk alongside them as a support, mentor, and partner — sharing what we’ve learned, what we’re still learning, and the structures that have helped us grow sustainably.

This is how movements spread. Not by replication alone — but by relationship.

Why This Matters

Kansas needs more spaces of belonging.

We need places where:

People in recovery are leaders.
Community meals replace isolation.
Accountability is paired with grace.
Hope is practical.

The start of Hutchinson Recovery Hub signals something powerful: recovery communities can grow beyond one city. The model works. The hunger for connection is real.
