New Partnership Possibility...

The Wichita Recovery Hub Board and Partner Advisory Team are exploring a partnership with the Recovery Cafe Network, a growing network of member organizations offering recovery support in communities across the country. There are currently 67 Cafés in the Network. This partnership would provide our team with mentorship, materials, expertise, and facilitated learning experiences while we build our program.

The Network creates the structure for us to learn from each other about what does and does not work. It also creates a platform to generate greater resources. Recovery Café Network is built upon a foundation that incorporates best practices informed by lived experience and research. With this groundwork, the RCN brand is one from which every member of the Network benefits.

Consistent with the Wichita Recovery Hub dream, the Recovery Café model provides support, resources, and a community of care along the entire continuum of a person’s need for recovery support. We teach skills to manage mental and physical health, maintain sobriety, build community, and help individuals reclaim their lives and identities as persons who are capable of doing things they never thought possible.
